a search on FreeBMD Jan. 24/04 showed a Catherine Griffiths born to Robert Griffiths and Catherine Edwards on Feb. 15, 1842 and christened March 1, 1842 at Cyssegr Congregational or Independent, Mostyn, Flint, Wales
Interestingly, also a brother William born Feb. 22, 1844 and christened same place on Mar. 17, 1844 - a William Griffiths is married to Ann (Woodvine) Griffiths in 1881 census for Shropshire.1
