Reg. Woodvine had gone from Sentinel to Rolls -Royce Ltd. Crewe as Production Manager in 1938. Reg w3as the son of Sentinel Works Manager, George, who became a director in 1938 and Managing Director in 1943, a position he held until his death in April 1946. Reg returned to Shrewsbury in 1942 as Works Manager taking over as Managing Director on his father's death. He later became Engineering Group Manager for Metal In dustries Ltd. from which he resigned to start his own very successful company in Nov. 1951. Reg died in 1979 at the age of 76 after twelve quiet years in retirement.
